Manpower are recruiting a Painter & Decorator for our client in LE2.
You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the interior surfaces of student accomodation, ensuring a high-quality, welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Apply paints, varnishes, stains, wallpapers, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
2. Remove old paint using appropriate techniques.
3. Protect furniture and floors during work by laying dust sheets and sheeting over items.
4. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure safe storage of materials in compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Liaise with property managers and students as needed to minimize disruption.
Requirements
6. Proven experience as a painter and decorator, preferably with experience in student accommodation or similar residential settings.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
9. Good communication skills and a professional approach to work.
10. Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
Hours and Pay:
9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday
£14.00 per hour, paid weekly every Friday
