About The Role
As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One you will create and implement engaging activities that delight residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will support the Home Manager with fundraising events and collaborate closely with the care home team to enhance residents’ socialisation and overall well‑being.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a range of tailored activities that suit residents’ interests and abilities.
* Support and coordinate fundraising and community engagement events.
* Collaborate with the care team to encourage social interaction and confidence building among residents.
* Maintain accurate activity logs and contribute to digital care planning.
* Apply safeguarding principles and report concerns promptly.
Qualifications & Skills
* Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with experience developing activity programmes.
* Strong planning, organisational and IT skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to treat residents and colleagues with kindness and consideration.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and ability to recognise and report signs of abuse or neglect.
* Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
