A well-established joinery company on the outskirts of Sudbury, Suffolk are recruiting for a Cabinet Maker to join their team. This position is paying between £34,000 - £39,300 per annum, depending on experience. This will lead to a permanent role after the successful 3-month probation period. Overview of the role: As a cabinet maker, you will be expected to work collaboratively within a team of 16 staff, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and report daily to the workshop supervisor. Hours of work: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm with an early finish on Friday Duties include: Using spindle moulders, tenoning machines, edge banders, speed sanding machines, crosscut saws plus much more Reporting stock levels to line manager Accurately record jobs on time sheets To produce kitchens and other high-end bespoke products from timber Ensure work is quality control checked to the required standard Utilise the correct machinery for the job and operate to safety guidelines Interpret drawings/job sheets & cutting lists Candidate requirements: Ability to work individually and within a team Competent to read from technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills Apprenticeship, NVQ or Diploma in furniture/cabinet making or joinery is required Proficient user of wood working machinery, hand tools & power tools Company perks: Statutory Company Pension Christmas Shut Down 28 d...
