Quality Assurance Manager - Global Organisation - Castleford Office - £35k-£45k (DoE)
Our client, a global company with offices in Castleford, North Yorkshire, who is a trailblazer in their field of expertise, is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.
As part of the North Yorkshire Management Team, the Quality Assurance Manager will ensure that the company complies with procedures, working practices, industry standards and client requirements.
We are looking for some with working knowledge of QA systems and practices, ideally with experience gained in a manufacturing industry, preferably within the FMCG market.
Suitable candidates will need to have a full, clean driving licence.
Key responsibilities as the Quality Manager will include:
1. Ensuring that all procedures and processes are adhered to at all times (Health and Safety, Quality Systems, Employee Handbook, Hygiene and Housekeeping etc)
2. Checking and inspecting materials and release for despatch
3. Managing calibration activities for equipment
4. Issuing Certificates of Analysis (COA)
5. Issuing controlled documentation and archiving of site samples and records
6. Managing supplier related problems on the complaints system and ensuring appropriate responses are received
