East IHC – Paediatric Specialist Nurse (Inherited Bleeding Disorders) – Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB).
Apply your expertise on in‑patient wards, assessment units, and within patient homes and schools, supporting the Haematology and Haemophilia service across North Wales and Alder Hey Hospital.
Main Duties
* Provide expert nursing care to children and young people with inherited bleeding disorders.
* Assess patients using advanced clinical skills and document evidence‑based interventions.
* Prescribe advanced evidence‑based nursing treatments in line with professional and institutional policy.
* Lead and model best practice, fostering a culture of clinical excellence.
* Coordinate care between acute, primary, social services and education sectors.
* Work with multidisciplinary teams across North Wales and Alder Hey to drive service improvement.
Qualifications / Experience
* Registered Nurse (RN) – paediatric focus.
* Children’s nursing experience.
* Registered with NMC.
* Working towards or holding a degree (clinical nursing or related).
* Non‑medical prescribing qualification and experience preferred.
* Experience in implementing service changes is desirable.
* Welsh language skills desirable; English sufficient.
Desirable Criteria
* Senior nursing experience.
* Post‑registration or advanced clinical qualifications.
