We’re currently recruiting for a College Administrator to support the daily operations of a dynamic education provision for young people aged 14–19. This is a term-time only position, working 25 hours per week, making it ideal for candidates looking to balance meaningful work with other commitments. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the college, providing both front-of-house and behind-the-scenes support to staff, students, and families. The Role As College Administrator, you will support day-to-day operations and act as the first point of contact for students, visitors and callers. You'll handle a variety of administrative duties and help maintain a professional, welcoming, and efficient environment. Key Responsibilities Include: * Welcoming and supporting students, families, and visitors at reception * Answering phone calls, managing emails, and taking accurate messages * Managing post, ordering stationery, and keeping refreshment supplies stocked * Monitoring student attendance and following up via phone calls and letters * Supporting general admin tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing * Handling petty cash and using purchase order systems * Preparing bursary spreadsheets and liaising with finance * Organising meetings, including taking minutes and arranging refreshments * Coordinating learner exam entries, course registrations and certificates * Managing internal records and spreadsheets with accuracy and confidentiality * Supporting First Aid and Fire Warden duties (training provided) About You You’re highly organised, personable, and proactive with a strong sense of professionalism and an eye for detail. You take pride in your work and enjoy being a reliable part of a busy and friendly team.
