Bank Hospital Waitress/Waiter | Spire Shawfair Park Hospital | Edinburgh | Hospitality experience desired | £12.76 per hour
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital are looking to recruit a Bank Hospital Waitress/Waiter / Kitchen Assistant to join their fantastic and dedicated team.
This role is a bank position and therefore the successful candidate/s would be required for covering sickness, annual leave and other cover for business needs. This role would be ideal for those looking for flexible working patterns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To work in close liaison with the clinical staff, understanding the special needs of the hospital on a day to day basis
2. To be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the equipment provided, checking for faults and supply shortages and reporting them to the line manager
3. Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations including COSHH
4. Work with guidance on moving and handling, as identified in corporate and local policy and discussed at Mandatory training sessions
5. Quality assurance and patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
6. Using your previous waitressing / waiting experience, you will ensuring meals and beverages are delivered to patients’ rooms
7. Responding to any ad-hoc requests from patients to ensure their comfortable stay
8. Assisting in the kitchen and Dining Room
9. Assisting the catering and housekeeping teams with day-to-day duties
Who we're looking for:

11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Previous experience in hospitality
13. Able to work as part of a team
14. Willing and able to complete mandatory training for COSSH, Manual Handling, Infection Control and Health & Safety in-house
