About the Role
Strode Park Foundation (SPF) are seeking to hire an exceptional Senior IT Technician to join the organisation on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a pivotal role within SPF, and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operation of SPF’s IT systems and infrastructure.
You will provide first-line and second-line support to staff and residents across our multi-sites in Kent. The role includes managing user accounts and emails, setting up and building computer systems, running phishing email training and working with our residents on the care floor as needed.
The IT technician role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of technology across our services, enabling effective delivery of our services through secure and reliable IT services.
This salary offered for this role is £30,146 per annum (based on 35 hrs pw).
Job Opportunity
As Senior IT Technician, you will:
· Manage and supervise the IT Support Technician/Apprentice (if applicable)
· Co-ordinate and oversee the ‘user focused’ delivery of expert first and second line IT technical support across the Foundation
· Develop IT policies, procedures and processes and ensure they are adhered to, including explaining key policies at staff induction
· Assist in the careful management of the IT Department budget, and obtain the best value for SPF

This role is based at Strode Park House (part of Strode Park Foundation) but will go to our other sites in Canterbury, Faversham and Rainham as required. Strode Park House is a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent.

Essential Skills
Our ideal Senior IT Technician will have:
· Proven experience surrounding network administration and management duties, including user account management
· Technical experience of working within the Microsoft Cloud family of products (not limited to Office 365, SharePoint, Endpoint Manager, Azure)
· Line management experience and ability to lead this important function
· Full clean driving licence
Although not essential, it would be an advantage if you have previous experience of working in a social care environment.
