💰 £35,177 - £44,506 per annum for an exceptional candidates. This includes a 10% recruitment incentive
We have a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced Lecturer in Electrical/Electronic Engineering to join our Engineering department at Castleford College.
In this role, you will deliver both practical and theoretical sessions to learners at Level 3 and Level 4, with future scope to contribute to a new Level 5 programme in Electronics. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of engineers, sharing your specialist knowledge in electronics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and robotics.

Essential Requirements
✔ Hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
✔ Hold a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
✔ Have experience in a relevant industry and/or educational setting
✔ Possess practical skills and theoretical knowledge of electronics and PLC systems
✔ Hold GCSE A*–C / 9–4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Desirable
⭐ Experience of teaching Engineering or working with 16–18-year-olds
⭐ Knowledge or practical skills in robotics
⭐ PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
