Role Overview
Our specialist stakeholder team helps deliver large infrastructure project proposals on time and within budget by engaging with a wide range of project stakeholders. We work across transport, water and energy sectors and seek a senior stakeholder consultant with three to seven years of stakeholder engagement and consultation experience to join the team. The role involves managing development and delivery of stakeholder engagement and consultation solutions that support project proposals, ensuring activities are compliant with legislation and aligned with good practice. There is also the potential to support the team’s bid writing as part of business development.
Existing clients include government departments, local authorities, road and rail organisations, aviation and port organisations, environmental organisations, water and energy companies.
Responsibilities
* Lead stakeholder communications, engagement and consultation in an infrastructure context
* Manage stakeholder engagement projects and campaigns
* Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement and consultation solutions for project proposals
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice
* Prepare reports and deliver stakeholder presentations
* Engage with stakeholder and community groups
* Contribute to bid writing and business development initiatives
Candidate specification
Essential
* Experience in stakeholder communications, engagement and consultation in an infrastructure sector
* Degree qualified (2:1 or above)
* Stakeholder project management
* Stakeholder campaign development and management
* Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice guidance
* Report development and writing
* Preparing and delivering stakeholder presentations
* Engagement with stakeholder and/or community groups
* Understanding of equality, diversity and accessibility
