Our client is seeking a dependable Handyperson to join their expanding team based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy practical work and wish to develop their skills within a supportive and professional environment.
The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing washroom systems across commercial sites. Comprehensive training, a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
Electrical, plumbing or drainage experience is advantageousl, as the company specialises in installing, maintaining, and carrying out reactive work in washrooms across a variety of corporate sites, as well as fitting air fresheners and hand dryers.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain and repair washroom systems
* Carry out plumbing and general maintenance tasks
* Fit hand dryers and air fresheners (electrical work)
* Travel to client sites as required
* Conduct inspections and identify maintenance issues
* Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Maintain accurate records of work completed
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely project completion
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required following successful completion of the six-month probation period
* Practical or maintenance experience preferred
* Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing or drainage systems is beneficial
* Reliable with strong attention to detail
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
