What you'll do Evolve and enforce project management methodologies, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across Portfolios and Programs Works closely with Demand & Capacity Lead to allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal utilization and balancing workload. Monitor resource availability and capacity to identify potential bottlenecks or resource gaps within Portfolios and projects Ensure the effective running of the Risk Management process for delivery projects/programmes within a function, business area or portfolio. Ensure all project risks that have wider implications (across multiple projects, programmes, and portfolios) are escalated and dealt with at the appropriate level, and that risks with strategic implications are escalated to the corporate risk management process Lead and mentor a team of Value Authorities, providing guidance, support, and coaching. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Who you are Proven expertise in navigating compliance, governance, and audit requirements within the dynamic landscape of delivering Technology solutions. Demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Exceptional reporting and analytical skills. Successful track record in operational or line management at a senior level. Proficient understanding and practical application of SAFe concepts and principles. Comprehensive understanding and practical application of waterfall methodologies. Effective prioritization skills to support the team in managing their time efficiently. Adept at identifying and analyzing problems, generating and evaluating potential solutions, and implementing effective resolutions. Skillful communication of information, ideas, and expectations to individuals or groups, both verbally and in writing.
