Job Overview
We are seeking a part time Teacher and Teaching Assistant to support our after school Junior coding and robotics team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, have great communication, be warm & friendly, and a have a willingness to learn .
Knowledge of junior robotics and/ or Scratch is beneficial, but not a requirement.
Duties
* Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of students.
* Help create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
* Facilitate small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives and assist with homework.
* Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the lead teacher on individual student needs.
Experience
No experience required, but experience working with children or coding would be beneficial.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working with children, and is an excellent and reliable communicator.
This job would suit someone looking for a few hours each week. Our sessions run from 16:00 -17:30 during the week, from 09:30 -11:00 on weekends, and 09:00 -15:00 during half terms.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.52-£20.00 per hour
