Occupational Therapist Functional Assessor
Salary £41,500 per annum + bonus scheme and benefits.
Location hybrid (office and home) Fareham. Full time Monday to Friday 9‑5.
We are recruiting Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with at least one year post‑qualification experience and registration in the UK.
Role Responsibilities
You will undertake a combination of file‑work, face‑to‑face and telephone/video assessments with customers in relation to PIP or ESA benefits and provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims. Such assessments focus on how a disability affects a customer's day‑to‑day life and performing work‑related activities.
Comprehensive training will provide you with the skills to support customers and transfer your current skills and knowledge to the level required for the role. You will have ongoing CPD, with over 100 hours CPD protected per annum, support with revalidation and the opportunity to develop your career within the organisation.

Requirements
* One year post‑registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist.
* Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN.
* Excellent observational and communication skills, giving you the ability to listen, empathise and dig deeper.
* The ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
