Responsibilities
* Provide an advanced level clinical pharmacy service at ward level in line with pharmacy Key Performance Indicators and agreed clinical standards.
* Lead on all education and training activities on the Ipswich site and any other relevant cross-site education and training activities within the Pharmacy department at ESNEFT.
* Develop, deliver and maintain locally-based education and training schemes for all grades of pharmacist and clinical pharmacy technician staff.
* Take the lead on the ongoing mentoring and coaching of junior pharmacists and student pharmacists throughout their Clinical Diploma and Foundation Trainee studies.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the optimal and cost effective use of medicines at ward level; minimising drug wastage accordingly.
