About The Role

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our Residents. You will also assist the Home Manager in organizing essential fundraising events. Whether you’re encouraging Residents to socialize more effectively, developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies, or involving the care team—you will do so with kindness above all else.

We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, and strong planning, organizational, and IT skills are essential. You should be considerate and kind in all communications with Residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to report concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
