Overview of responsibilities & duties
* Lead and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons across KS3 to KS5, inspiring students to develop a love for literature and language while achieving excellent academic results.
* Maintain a calm, focused, and disruption-free learning environment that supports high expectations and student success.
* Plan, model, and support the implementation of innovative, differentiated English lessons aligned with the national curriculum, embedding best practices in literacy and pedagogy.
* Contribute to departmental leadership, including curriculum design, mentoring colleagues, and participating in whole-school and pastoral initiatives.
