JOB PURPOSE
As a trusted finance partner, you will use your finance expertise, connecting seamlessly with your Business and Finance colleagues, to provide commercial finance support, influencing decisions or strategy to deliver bottom-line benefits. You will ensure the main cost drivers within Design, Supply Chain and Product Business Units are analysed and aligned to forecast / budget expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop strong and trusted partnerships with key budget holders within Supply Chain Business Unit teams
* Provide effective monthly management reports for key budget holders and Finance leadership team
* Review variances and provide analysis when necessary
* Manage and track costs for Opex and Capex spending. Undertake regular update meetings with key stakeholders to ensure existing costs and new developments are in line with budget
* Manage the Budget and Forecast process, ensuring accurate uploads and reporting
* Monthly cost analysis vs forecast and budgets, with analysis on key cost drivers
PERSONAL PROFILE
* Qualified accountant ACA/CIMA or equivalent
* Strong analytical background, with a good attention to detail.
* Strategic thinking and problem solving.
* Ability to build rapport and trust.
* Ability to interact, advise and challenge stakeholders
* Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
* Commercial and retail mind-set – ability to interpret business requirements and prioritisation.
* Proven business partnering skills
* Strong financial and commercial acumen
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders with limited financial background
