This is a small, independent specialist school designed for children with communication difficulties typically associated with Autism spectrum conditions. The school is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This setting has been open for 1 year and is growing daily. It is an inviting and supportive environment that has been recognised for its positive impact and recently awarded outstanding at Ofsted. The school has strong facilities including an on-site kitchen, a fully equipped music room, and on-site Forest School with outdoor space including a trim trail.
The setting supports 45+ pupils aged 11 to 16 years, offering tailored 1:1 education that aims to change learners’ lives and provides a calm, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
* Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Qualifications
* Relevant SEN experience
* Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK

Details
This position is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm. Financial support to access qualifications is provided.
