Primary SEND Teaching Assistant – Inclusive Primary School (Newcastle)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Pay: £89–£110 per day (PAYE)

We’re working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Newcastle seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS–KS2 with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language delay.
Your role will include:
1. Supporting pupils in class and during small-group sessions
2. Adapting learning materials to meet individual needs
3. Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
4. Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support
You’ll need:
5. Experience working with children who have SEND (school or care setting)
6. A positive, nurturing attitude and a good sense of humour!
7. Flexibility and the ability to think on your feet

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
