Are you an experienced People Development Manager with the ability to work in West Berkshire, 2-days per week?
I am working with one of the UK's most important national security organisations on a 12-month People Development Manager role paying £500 per day (inside IR35). They play a critical role in supporting the UK's nuclear deterrent and is investing significantly in its people, capability, and future workforce.
They are looking to recruit an experienced People Development Manager to lead capability, learning, and career development initiatives across Project, Programme & Portfolio Management (P3M) community.
The office is located in the heart of West Berkshire, where employees go into the office 2-days per week. There is parking on site for all employees to use.
Working within the Enterprise PMO (ePMO), you'll help build a high-performing P3M profession by developing career pathways, strengthening capability frameworks, and delivering learning and development programmes that support both current and future talent.

My client is looking for a proactive and experienced people development professional with a strong background in learning, capability, talent, or workforce development. You'll be an effective stakeholder manager, confident in building relationships and influencing at all levels, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering multiple initiatives simultaneously. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, along with the ability to drive meaningful change and enhance organisational capability. Experience working within a P3M, project delivery, engineering, defence, or other complex, highly regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
Due to the nature of the organisations work, all candidates must be British Citizens and eligible for SC or DV clearance with UK residency of 5 years (SC) or 10 years (DV)
