We're looking for someone that is adaptable and driven that wants to grow with our business and have a strong say in how we shape the company. Work with our expert delivery, cloud, data and analytics consultants to help customers deliver more value from their investment in technology. This is a hybrid role between the delivery and commercial teams and guides the ongoing definition of our managed service solution and the delivery of great outcomes for our customers. Day-to-day work involves developing and executing account plans, service delivery, and project management and collaborating with stakeholders across our internal and customer teams. Work includes scope, planning, mobilising, managing and reporting on contracts and projects that cover cloud consultancy, machine learning, data platform, and advanced analytics solutions for our customers - built with modern tools across the open source and cloud platform landscape. You'll have to get stuck into overseeing the contracts assigned to you and influencing the successful outcome for our customers. You will act as a champion and subject matter expert for our ways of working across the business, helping to cross-skill and upskill others. You will also be heavily involved in the outreach and knowledge sharing that Hypercube does. We will help you grow your brand through speaking, blogging, or other outreach methods should you wish. Accountabilities The primary accountability of this role is delivering contract growth. This is achieved in two ways: Commercial account development - as part of the commercial team Maintaining positive relationships with customers and development of account development plans in conjunction with them Opportunity and account management as a quota bearing member of the commercial team Assessing customer feedback and using your creativity to establish, improve, and refine services. Building partnerships and liaising with team leaders to determine the company's services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise. Help to grow both our internal knowledge and skillsets as we scale. Ensuring successful contract delivery - as part of the delivery team Leading the contract delivery team, managing conflict, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently Managing finances and budgets Determining ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs Time estimating – ensure the estimated date of completion is accurate Cost estimating – ensure the estimated cost to complete is accurate Managing Risks and Issues (RAID logs per project) Monitoring progress and reporting on it via agreed channels and to established timelines Escalating to management where the success of the contract is at risk Produce high-quality communications, documentation, and presentations of solutions for colleagues and customers Technical skills We understand that this list is extensive – please apply if you fit some or only part of it we're flexible and are mostly looking for bright people who can adapt as the role grows. Ideally, you will have hands-on experience with the following in a previous role: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Previous experience of working in a commercially targeted environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of ITIL and PRINCE2 - certification desirable Experience of working using Agile frameworks such as Kanban or Scrum Understanding and integrating appropriate service management tools and processes Planning skills including ability to define and fulfil tasks and schedules to an established business rhythm Negotiation, for example, regarding, budgets, schedules, scope creep, and the use of resources Commercial acumen as applied to financial profile and management of contracts and their relationship to the wider business. Additional experience with the following would be beneficial but not essential: MS Office (esp. PowerPoint, Word and Excel), Azure DevOps, Jira Service Desk Team Management Leadership Conflict management Decision making Effective listening.
