Job Title: Field Service EngineerPurpose of the RoleThe Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to customers both remotely and on-site across an international region. The role involves installation, maintenance, repair, training, and ongoing support of a range of specialised testing and inspection equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and support technical equipment, ensuring high service standards and customer satisfactionProvide technical support via hotline, remote access, and on-site visitsCarry out commissioning and installation activities, including customer trainingDiagnose and troubleshoot faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutionsLiaise with internal engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues and report product feedbackDevelop and contribute to technical documentation, including manuals and product guidesAct as the main technical point of contact for customers, building strong working relationshipsWork independently while collaborating with wider service and technical teamsTravel extensively across the assigned region to support customer requirementsCandidate RequirementsStrong technical background (engineering or equivalent experience)Knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic electronicsExperience with testing, inspection, or similar technical equipment (desirable)Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issuesHands-on approach with confidence using tools and working in practical environmentsStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyFamiliarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar)Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 75%)Valid passport and driving licenceSkills & AttributesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellenceAbility to work autonomously and manage workload effectivelyAdaptable and flexible in a field-based roleWhats on OfferHome-based role when not travellingFlexible working hoursOpportunity to work within a global, technical environmentIf this role is for you please reach out Saffron Giddings01296737349TPBN1_UKTJ
