IRecruit4 are hiring physically fit Yard Operative to join our client based on the outskirts of Wootton Bassett.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, offering on-going work, and immediate starts.
For the right candidate this could turn into a permanent role and much higher basic salary.
About the role:
1. Cleaning and maintaining modular buildings to a high standard
2. Assisting with the preparation and turnaround of modular units for delivery or installation
3. Removing debris, waste materials, and leftover construction items from units and yard areas
4. Using cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently (e.g. pressure washers, vacuums)
5. Supporting general yard duties, including moving materials and organising stock
6. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
7. Reporting any damages, defects, or maintenance issues within modular units
8. Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain productivity in a fast-paced yard environment
9. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the yard and surrounding work areas
10. Assisting other departments when required to support overall site operations
