Primary Teacher - Year 1 - Stafford - Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for a fabulous Year 1 Primary Teacher to join a thriving school in the heart of Stafford, this role is a great opportunity to work in a rewarding school alongside a supportive staff cohort and hard-working pupils. This job will be on a temporary basis, to start W.C 23/01/2026 and has the potential to continue through to the end of the academic year.
This opportunity is great for a passionate teacher who wants to jump straight into the classroom; working alongside pupils who have a 'can-do' attitude and want to learn. The successful primary teacher will be expected to jump straight into the role from; behaviour management, planning and all of the bits in-between!
The role includes:

Planning responsibility, following the schools planning scheme.
You will receive all of the coaching and mentoring needed from experienced leaders in the academy to ensure that you are supported during this teaching post.We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working as a Primary Teacher (preferably within the Key Stage 1 years).
Able to commute to Stafford daily.
Are reliable, adaptable, and committed to working within a rewarding school environment.
Able to provide support to a range of pupils within the class, adapting to their needs including those with SEN, English as an Additional Language, those more-able learners and those eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant.
Able to work within KS1, take on planning responsibilities. In this case we require the candidate to be confident planning sequences of lessons following school's schemes/instructions.
Quickly settle in to the role of a Year 1 Primary Teacher.
Fully registered to work for Academics.
Enhanced DBSPay: £140 - £232 a day (dependent upon experience and length worked). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
