Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Revenues Technical Manager for a Local Authority Client in Surrey. In this role you will manage Council Tax and Business Rates services, lead a high-performing team, and drive improvements in billing, collection, and recovery performance. Duties: Oversee Council Tax and Business Rates billing, collection, and recovery Manage complex technical cases, including business rates avoidance Lead service improvement and transformation initiatives Deputise for senior management and complete statutory returns Qualifications and Experience: Significant experience in Council Tax and Business Rates administration and recovery Proven track record in a revenues management or supervisory role Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Experience using revenues systems and managing complex customer issues What's on offer: Salary: £350 per day *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience* Contract type: 3-6 months minimum Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week How to apply: Once your CV is received, if you are successful, you will be contacted.
