Playhouse Nursery are seeking a fun, self motivated Early Years Practitioner. We are looking for a qualified individual to work for up to 35 hours per week or we could possibly consider part time if the right candidates can offer flexibility to cover staff sickness and holiday leave. Playhouse caters for up to 40 children aged between six weeks and five years of age. We operate for 51 weeks a years from 7:45-6:00pm.
A key aspect of this job is to help create a safe and secure environment that enables children to succeed in their learning. you will:
* Provide the children with a safe and secure environment.
* Operate a key person system and liaise with parents/carers, and senior staff.
* Plan, organise and implement a programme of activities in line with the EYFS framework, to meet the needs of the above age groups and work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.
The successful applicants will need to hold a recognised, full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or above (such as NVQ Level 3 Diploma for The Children and Young People's Workforce, or equivalent qualification). You will have gained experience in an early years setting, have high regard for our confidentiality policy, have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.
In addition, you will need to be adaptable and productive, with the commitment to provide first class childcare. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This post requires DBS check and two satisfactory references prior to the commencement of employment.
Pay will be dependent upon age and experience.
