Graduate RCM Engineer - 2026
Company: Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited (BDUK), a subsidiary of Boeing Company, employs over 1,400 people in the UK and delivers defence contracts, including E‑7 AEW&C, P‑8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, and autonomous systems.
Engineering Function: The BDUK engineering function operates within a matrix organization. This role will be situated in the Product Support Engineering Department, encompassing reliability‑centred maintenance analysis, reliability and maintainability, logistics support analysis, engineering data exploitation, obsolescence management, technical publications, and integrated logistics support engineering.
Role Overview: As a Graduate RCM Engineer you will facilitate RCM philosophies and techniques, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will report to the BDUK Support Engineering Manager and receive support from the RCM Technical Lead.
* Conduct RCM analysis to agreed scope, quality, and timescales.
* Review and process change requests from continuous‑improvement processes.
* Ensure proposed changes comply with agreed standards.
* Understand customer requirements and advise on best RCM practices.
* Provide management reporting on progress (KPIs / Close‑out reports).
* Ensure RCM tasks are implemented and updated in relevant tools.
* Maintain and strengthen reliability foundations using a methodological approach.
Basic Qualifications:
* Degree level education in an engineering discipline or graduating in 2026.
* Basic understanding of Risk & Opportunity Management principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Word) and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.
Additional Requirements:
* Intrusive Security Clearance Process required – 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK prior to applying.
* No sponsorship for employment visa status or visa renewal during employment.
* Ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check.
