Job Title: CNC Turner / Production Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: ?38,000 - ?40,000
Hours: Days based; Monday - Thursday 7.30 - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30 - 12.30pm, Overtime x1.5 during weekdays and x2 on Sundays.
The client is a Tier 1 component supplier, specialising in machining and assembly for the power and off-highway industries. The company has a reputation for delivering solutions to a broad range of customers worldwide. Housed in a new, state-of-the-art facility, you will join a highly skilled engineering team producing complex components of various sizes.
Who can do it?
* Fully skilled CNC Turner Machinist seeking progression into an off-tool role, or someone already supporting in a similar capacity.
* Apprentice-trained or time-served CNC Machinist.
Requirements include the ability to read drawings and customer standards, program and set CNC lathes with live tooling, and knowledge of Mazak/Mazatrol systems. Involvement in shopfloor process issues and process improvements is essential. Responsibilities also include ordering tools for NPI projects and liaising with customers.

Taking new projects through to first-off and proving machining processes.
Duties
* Generating and proving programs.
* Manufacturing parts according to customer instructions.
* Providing guidance on manufacturing methods.
* Supporting employees to meet customer deadlines.
