Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of both legal aid and private family matters, including : Divorce and separation
Financial remedies
Private law children matters
Domestic abuse cases
* Run your own files independently, with the ability to undertake your own advocacy
* Deliver a high standard of client care, ensuring sensitivity and empathy, particularly when dealing with vulnerable clients
* Maintain excellent technical knowledge and keep up to date with legal developments
* Work proactively and efficiently to manage deadlines and client expectations
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties, both in writing and in person
* Contribute to a positive team culture and maintain a practical, friendly, and commercially aware approach
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (all levels of PQE considered)
* Experience managing a caseload within family law, including both public and private matters
* Strong advocacy skills and confidence attending court
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
* A client-focused approach with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
