Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Adviser who can embody and demonstrate the organisation's values and deliver excellent customer service to our internal stakeholders. You will have an understanding of construction-based and engineering processes and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and our internal customers to support team and company objectives. The Quality team is part of the SHEQ team within YTL Construction UK and aligns with ISO 9001 best practice.


What you'll do

* Deliver efficiencies to the business through improvement and change initiatives based on ISO standards and company requirements.
* Provide advice and guidance to maintain, monitor and improve ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications by auditing and updating documents via the management information system.
* Undertake internal audits of our integrated quality management system, construction processes and procedures, and support continuous improvement by offering advice and guidance to all departments.
* Ensure quality audits and reviews are undertaken at a variety of office and construction site locations, internally and across external contractors within your region.
* Participate in continual improvement projects, reviews and assist with any other duties assigned by the management team.
* Work on your own initiative to support the implementation and development of new processes by conducting regular site visits to projects across the region.
* Other duties include: managing and administering queries related to the integrated management system; updating and publishing documentation within SharePoint; communicating updates to the business through alerts and updates using various software systems and databases; maintaining up-to-date document management for the quality management system; facilitating continuous improvement of the quality management system.


What you'll need

* Internal quality audit experience and a qualification/certificate in auditing.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
* Excellent administration and task coordination skills.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work under own guidance and initiative.
* Energy and enthusiasm to drive continuous improvement.
* Ability to write concise, accurate audit reports and identify appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Awareness and knowledge of the Construction and Design Management Regulations 2015.
* Experience in second-party management system audits.
* Ability to carry out basic root cause analysis.
