What Will You Be Doing?
Reporting to the Compliance Monitoring Manager, you'll join a dedicated team of nine. Our Compliance team provides assurance to senior leadership and the board that the Skipton Group meets FCA regulatory requirements, with a focus on fair treatment of customers.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Researching and understanding risks and controls for review topics.
2. Embracing feedback to improve your work.
3. Compiling findings into comprehensive reports.
4. Collaborating throughout all review stages.
Your insights will help shape our processes, positively impacting customers and colleagues.
What Do We Need From You?
We'd love to hear from you if:
* Experience: Recent experience in a similar Compliance Monitoring or Audit role within Financial Services.
* Qualifications: Hold your Certificate in Mortgage Advice (CeMAP) or equivalent, or are working towards it.
* Customer Focus: Passionate about achieving the best outcomes for customers.
* Risk Management: Skilled at identifying risks and evaluating controls.
* Collaboration: Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
* Communication: Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills to deliver quality reviews on time.
* Teamwork: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Resilience: Responds positively to feedback and challenges.
