The Role
This is a field-based engineering role covering servicing, repairs,maintenanceand installations.
Key Responsibilities
* Installing,servicingand repairing industrial doors, rollershuttersand steel doors
* Carrying out upgrades and remedial works asrequired
Technical Troubleshooting
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on-site
* Aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible
Maintenance (PPM)
* Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Ensuring equipmentoperatessafely and in line with compliance standards
Compliance & Reporting
* Completing service documentation, riskassessmentsand technical reports accurately
* Working in line with health & safety legislation and company procedures
Customer Service
* Liaising professionally with clients on-site
Emergency Response
* Participating in a24/7 on-call rotafor emergency breakdowns and repairs
You’llbe fully supported by ouroffice and service desk team, with proper scheduling, partscoordinationand backup,you’renot on your own out there.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
* Proven experience in industrial door and shutter installation,servicingor maintenance
Technical Skills
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
* Confidence working with motors, controlpanelsand safety devices
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* DHF and ADSA certificationrequired
Safety Focus
* Good knowledge of health & safety regulations
* Methodical, safety-conscious approach to work
Working Conditions
* Field-based role involving travel between customer sites
* Overtime and on-call work as part of a rota
* Company van and power tools provided
* PPE and specialist equipment supplied
