Lecturer in Business Ethics - Strand, London, WC2R 2LSAbout us:King’s Business School, King’s College London, is looking for a Lecturer (equivalent Assistant Professor) in Business Ethics, to join our Strategy, International Management, and Entrepreneurship (SIME) Department, for a fixed term, from 1 September 2025 through 31 August 2026. Founded in 2017, KBS has achieved “triple crown” status with AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS accreditations. Over 90 per cent of King’s Business School’s research output has been judged ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’ by the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF). The School was one of the ten highest scoring institutions for business and management studies overall and ranks fourth on its research environment. The SIME Department has a strong research reputation in developing theory, methods, and knowledge to advance our understanding of business, innovation, and entrepreneurial activity in an international institutional context. Research comprises four core themes: (1) international business, comparative management, and strategy, (2) global strategies for sustainability and corporate social responsibility, (3) knowledge-intensive firms, innovation, and appropriability, and (4) entrepreneurship from a comparative and social dimension. The SIME Department has built extensive research networks through international academic collaborations, and it has a strong commitment to developing research impact through links with policymakers and practitioners. Department members regularly publish in leading journals in management, international business, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The Department is home to three Fellows of the Academy of International Business, a Fellow of the British Academy of Management, and a Fellow of the International Association of Applied Psychology. Members of the Department regularly win prestigious prizes and awards of leading professional associations. Our future colleague will be an aspiring scholar with a strong research pipeline showing the potential to publish her/his work in world-leading, relevant journals. We offer a generous research funds package and a supportive culture. The Department provides teaching for KBS’ suite of undergraduate programs and hosts three highly successful MScs, one in International Management, another in Strategic Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and a third in Medical Technology (MedTech) Innovation and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences (Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine). Our future colleague will be involved in these programs. The selection process will include a presentation and panel interview. Further details will be provided to shortlisted candidates.About the role:• To undertake high-quality research in the subject area, to publish the findings in world-leading journals, and to participate in the major internationally recognized academic networks.• To take a role in the design, organization, and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate modules.• To carry out administration as requested by the Executive Dean / Head of Department.• Sustain high-quality research activity through a portfolio of individual and/or joint research projects and to secure the funding required for this research as required.• Supervise postgraduate research students and/or research staff.• Attend meetings and conferences to present research findings and thereby enhance the national and international standing of the School.• Take responsibility for the design, organization, and delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities within the School.• Develop and use a variety of methods to assess student learning and provide feedback that is timely, relevant, and appropriate. The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post. This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31/08/2026
