The Company you will be working for;
MTrec Commercial is proudly representing an industry-leading client in their search for an experienced Site Financial Controller. You will be working for a reputable business on a full-time, permanent basis. If you have the required skills and experience, please apply for an immediate response.
The Job you will be doing;
* Preparation and validation of local financial statements and KPIs for actuals, forecasts, budgets, and MTP, in accordance with Group standards and local rules, in cooperation with other departments.
* Ensure consistency between operational KPI/Actions and financials.
* Review statements prepared by accounting.
* Ensure reliability and timely publication of economic data (budget, reporting, and consolidation) according to Group standards.
* Participate in statutory audits.
* Prepare and review cash performance and forecasts, including cash MTP, in line with Group standards and in cooperation with other departments.
* Manage and optimize cash flow with support from the Business Unit and Corporate Treasury, including liaising with banks and seeking funding or subventions.
* Implement measures to recover receivables.
* Manage plant controlling in interface with financial and operational teams.
* Support internal controls at the plant level.
* Supervise local IT in interface with Corporate IT.
* Partner with the Plant Manager to set and meet financial and operational targets, improve hourly rates, and enforce internal controls and processes.
* Prepare and challenge medium-term and budget plans, forecasts, and financial studies/projects, leading associated action plans.
* Validate profitability of investments and products.
* Advise the Plant Director, Business Unit, and Finance network where appropriate.
* Conduct specific analyses as requested by the Plant Manager and Financial network.
* Represent the company with delegated authority for tax, administrative duties, and dealings with banks, insurance companies, and courts.
* Support internal controls at the plant.
* Establish action plans aligned with business objectives and coordinate team missions.
* Propose and control the annual operational activity budget.
* Monitor activity performance indicators, implement corrective actions, and communicate results to teams.
* Conduct annual appraisal interviews, set team objectives, and develop employee skills with necessary training.
About You;
* Previous Site Financial Controller experience is essential.
* Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
* Possess relevant industry qualifications.
* Ability to facilitate positive relationships and communication between departments and stakeholders, and be accessible to team members.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize information to recommend improvements.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safe working procedures.
