Minor Works Project Manager - Facilities Management


Location: Filton, Bristol (with travel to Newport, South Wales)
Rate of Pay: £40ph Umbrella / £29.89ph PAYE
Job Type: 12 month initial contract, potential extension

A leading aerospace organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding FMRE team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to manage multiple facilities management projects across key UK sites.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Services, you will oversee the delivery of minor works projects valued up to £100,000. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial targets are met. The role involves working across Filton and Newport sites, and requires eligibility for UK SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain visual project plans.
2. Implement and manage safety measures to reduce workplace incidents.
3. Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
4. Maintain financial control including margin management, cost tracking, and final account negotiation.
5. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned.
6. Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures.
