As a trusted, CQC-registered homecare provider, CareRight delivers high-quality care across Plymouth and the surrounding areas, including Tavistock, Ivybridge and the wider South Hams region. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate and organised Care Coordinator to join our busy Plymouth office and play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the consistent, reliable care they deserve.

A well-managed rota isn't just a schedule, it's the foundation of outstanding care.
As Care Coordinator, you'll be responsible for helping ensure the right carers are in the right place at the right time, supporting continuity of care for vulnerable people across our communities. Your ability to plan, communicate and adapt will directly impact both client wellbeing and staff satisfaction.
You'll work closely with our experienced Rota Manager and wider office team, becoming a key part of the engine room that keeps our services running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and manage person-centred care schedules, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of care services across our communities.
* Coordinate staffing and respond to changes in client needs, availability and service requirements
* Communicate confidently with carers, clients and families to ensure smooth service delivery
* Build positive relationships with care staff, supporting them throughout their working day
* Maintain accurate records and ensure scheduling systems are up to date
* Participate in a scheduled on-call rota shared across the senior and management team, providing out-of-hours support and ensuring continuity of care when required.
* Work proactively to solve problems and minimise disruptions to care delivery
* Be willing to support care delivery through occasional care visits when required
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in care coordination, rota management, scheduling or workforce planning
* Experience within domiciliary care or homecare
* Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
* The ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confidence using scheduling software and Microsoft Office systems
* A genuine passion for delivering excellent care through exceptional organisation
