An outstanding opportunity for a structural engineer based in Brighton has become available with a leading structural engineering consultancy in the heart of the design centre. You will be working on London based projects ranging in value from £5m to £30m and you will be involved in working on both the temporary and permanent aspects of the projects. Designing in all traditional materials you will be involved in both new build and refurbishment projects of a commercial, leisure and mixed use nature. You will be utilizing a whole range of design and analysis software on which full training will be provided. This will be a challenging, and therefore rewarding, role where you will be afforded the opportunity to work with chartered engineers on a day to day basis with a fully supportive IStructE training programme.
Responsibilities
* Work on London-based projects valued between £5m and £30m, involving temporary and permanent aspects.
* Design in traditional materials for new build and refurbishment projects in commercial, leisure, and mixed-use sectors.
* Utilise a range of design and analysis software (full training provided).
* Collaborate with chartered engineers on a day-to-day basis within a supportive IStructE training programme.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience of working on UK-based building structures projects as a structural design engineer using traditional materials.
* Willingness to engage in IStructE training and ongoing professional development.
