The Company This established consultancy works on a wide variety of projects, typically ranging from £1K to £500K in value. The Role You'll be involved in hands-on civil engineering design and project delivery, covering drainage, roads, car parks, flood risk, and general infrastructure projects. The role will include: \* Designing SUDS, drainage systems, and highways layouts \* Site visits, surveys, and construction support \* Hydraulic modelling and feasibility assessments \* Preparing cost estimates, proposals, and contract documentation \* Client liaison and project management responsibilities What We're Looking For \* HNC/BTEC or Degree in Civil Engineering \* 5+ years' experience in civil engineering design \* Strong knowledge of drainage and road design for residential/commercial projects \* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and MS Office \* UK driving licence \* Strong communication skills and attention to detail Desirable Experience \* Use of design software such as WinDes, Tuflow, HEC-RAS, TEDDS, or S-Frame \* Knowledge of Section 38, 104, 106, 185 & 278 agreements \* Experience in Flood Risk Assessments and infrastructure design \* Working towards professional membership (EngTech, IEng or MICE) What's on Offer \* Competitive, negotiable salary (dependent on experience) \* ICE-approved training and CPD support \* Real responsibility, autonomy, and client exposure \* Excellent long-term career prospects with a growing consultancy
