Sales Director | Warehouse Automation
We are working retained to support a long-established designer, manufacturer, and integrator of warehouse automation solutions, delivering cutting-edge conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and robotics-enabled intralogistics projects for customers across the UK and Europe.
With over two decades of success supporting some of the world’s leading logistics, retail, and e-commerce businesses, the company is now entering an exciting growth phase and seeks a proven commercial leader to drive expansion.
Package & Benefits:
* Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 base
* OTE: £200K
* Car allowance/vehicle

The Role:
As Sales Director, you’ll own the commercial strategy across the company’s automation portfolio leading the sales team, developing key accounts, and driving growth in a rapidly evolving market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead national sales strategy across conveyors, AS/RS, and automation projects.
* Manage and develop a high-performing sales team.
* Win new business from 3PL, logistics, and manufacturing customers.
* Build senior client and partner relationships.
* Collaborate with technical teams to align bids with engineering capability.
* Report directly to the Managing Director.
About You:
* Strong background in warehouse automation, conveyors, or intralogistics.
* Proven track record in senior sales leadership and winning major system contracts.
* Strategic yet hands-on approach to customer development.
* Degree or equivalent in engineering or business preferred.
* Full UK driving licence and national travel required.
