TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting a well-established, Deal based chartered accountancy practice in their search for a Payroll Manager to join their team. Our client is open to both full time and part time applicants. Joining as a Payroll Manager in a standalone position, based in their Deal office, you will be responsible for the delivery of payroll services (weekly / monthly etc ) to a very wide spectrum of clients, deal with queries and advise clients on technical issues, and assist with other projects. You will take on responsibility as you develop within the firm and role, delivering a quality service to the clients and building strong relationships. For a full-time applicant, in addition to payroll work, there is scope to get involved in bookkeeping and VAT work too, during quieter periods. Our client is willing to provide full training and support, as required. Management and organisation of overall payroll function. End to End processing of Payroll Data, including RTI, Auto-Enrolment and Benefits. Ensuring compliance with all Payroll Legislation and HMRC Reporting. Communication of payroll updates and responsibilities to clients and stakeholders. Tracking various deadlines, both internally and on behalf of clients. Verification and Submission of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns. Requirements You will be a technically proficient Payroll Administrator or Payroll Manager who has a minimum of 2-3 years or more experience in Payroll. Ideally you will have Accountancy Practice experience or payroll bureau experience. You will be looking to carve a pivotal, key role within a highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in East Kent. This is a standalone position, where you will be responsible for managing the practice's payroll function. Experience of BrightPay or Xero would be advantageous, but isn't essential. Benefits £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience and background, plus benefits. Part Time, or Full Time. Potentially for CIPP Study support.
