Shop Manager - Sue Ryder
As a Shop Manager, you will leverage your retail experience to drive business, push sales, and achieve targets.
* Lead your team to deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
* Work with the local community to generate donated stock to support sales.
* Recruit, train, and retain a volunteer team, providing leadership and guidance.
* Maintain high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, prioritizing health and safety.
* Manage stock processes to ensure the shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
* Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
* Oversee stock management through the Epos system.

Work Environment and Benefits
Most retail roles work weekends, with managers typically working every other weekend. Our shops usually close by 5:15 pm, and we start as early as 8:45 am. We offer days off on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
Our Hampton Vale shop features free parking, daily new stock, and a wide range of quality items. Located opposite the community centre, it provides a convenient shopping experience.
Compensation includes £12.56 per hour, 37.5 hours per week over 7 days, plus rewards and benefits such as a pension scheme, holiday entitlement, enhanced maternity/paternity pay, and more.
