Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Farm Assistant role located in Sleaford. The Farm Assistant will support daily farm operations, including monitoring animal welfare, maintaining cleanliness across facilities, and assisting in the feeding and care of livestock. The role also entails ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, observing biosecurity measures, and assisting with routine farm maintenance to uphold operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of animal husbandry and experience in livestock care
* Familiarity with health and safety protocols and biosecurity measures
* Practical skills in general farm maintenance and equipment handling
* Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and dedication to ensuring high standards of animal welfare
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to adapt to outdoor work environments and manage physically demanding tasks
* Prior farm experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
* Valid driver’s license is beneficial
