Job Description
To maintain and improve equipment across site and provide support to the operations team. The role will consist of both mechanical and electrical works, including maintenance and breakdowns. The Engineer will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance as well as offering continuous improvement and recommendations.FORMAL ELECTRICAL QUALIFICATIONS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE.SALARY TO 43K PLUS BENEFITS.MONDAY TO FRIDAY DAYS BASED.
7am to 4pm.20 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCarry out maintenance tasks and breakdown resolution on various types of food processing equipmentConduct repairs and modifications to machineryFault finding and maintenance on mechanical assembliesFault finding and maintenance on electrical systemsFault finding and maintenance on pneumatic systemsCarrying out PPM tasks and reporting findingsRecording of all tasks on Shires CMMSAlerting Engineering Buyer if parts are requiredResponsible for own H&S and that of others aroundBuilding close working relationships with area leadsCompleting all necessary paperwork for safety and technical complianceLiaise with Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager on foreseeable issues and any improvementsTPBN1_UKTJ
