Role Summary
The role involves facilitating, assisting, and providing support in the planning, preparation, and delivery of staff training programmes. These range from de-escalation techniques to physical intervention techniques. The role also involves promoting the appropriate use of techniques in managing challenging behaviour and restraint, as well as data collection, evaluation, course administration, and clerical duties related to workforce and statutory requirements. The postholder will work closely with and support the operational security team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team to develop and deliver a Physical Intervention Training programme within both Acute and Community settings. The role also involves supporting staff in building packages of care for service users displaying challenging behaviour.
The successful applicant must be a GSA Accredited Grade A Tutor with clinical experience to ensure high standards focused on service users. A valid driving licence is also required. Please include these details in your supporting information.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
