Financial Accountant| Non-profit | Fixed Term Contract
* Salary: £38,878 – £47,532
* Location: Newtownabbey

Reed Finance is partnered with a prominent, highly regarded non-profit organisation in Belfast, in the appointment of a Temporary Financial Accountant for a period of at least three months. The position offers a hybrid working model and is based in Belfast.
This key position within the Group reports directly to the Director of Finance, managing a Finance team in the provision of effective and efficient management accounts and management information.
Key areas of responsibility include.
* Service Delivery: To oversee the processing of all transactional and banking activity, cash flow monitoring and forecasting, fixed assets
* General Finance Tasks: To ensure compliance financial policies and procedures, and to assist with maintaining Finance manuals and other policies relating to the financial accounting and income areas
* Communication Tasks (Internal & External): To attend and participate in internal and external meetings as required
* Management: To direct and manage staff within the Finance team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed to carry out their responsibilities in line with policies.
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Accountant with supervisory experience
OR
Part-qualified or working towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 4 years’ experience in a similar role
AND:
* Demonstrable experience to working to strict deadlines and within current financial legislation.
* I.T. competent, including use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Access to car, with full, clean driving license
