Automotive Business Development Manager – UK, Europe and International £ Competitive Salary DOE and CommissionCoventry / Perth ScotlandThe DRVN Automotive Group are seeking a results driven, dynamic and highly experienced Automotive Business Development Manager to join the DRVN Senior Management Team and lead the creation of the DRVN dealer and service network, driving both sales and after-sales performance to meet strategic targets and shape the Company’s global commercial strategy. These projects provide our employees with an exceptional platform to showcase their skills, across various disciplines and be part of some of the most exciting modernisation programmes the industry has ever seen.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork ExpansionIdentify, develop, and expand the DRVN dealer network, by engaging with potential new dealer partners in emerging markets to expand DRVN's global presence.Dealer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealer partners. Support initial set up, conduct regular performance reviews, assist in setting KPIs, and ensure alignment with DRVN’s brand values and objectives.Strategic Planning & ExecutionDevelop and implement tailored business and marketing plans for dealer partners ensuring new opportunities are leveraged in each market. Monitor progress and provide strategic guidance to ensure mutual success.Market Intelligence & ReportingResearch regional and global automotive trends, analyse competitor activities, and generate insights to inform business decisions. Regularly report findings and recommendations to the CEO to shape commercial strategy together with creating and developing new business opportunities.Dealer Recruitment & Onboarding Lead the recruitment of new dealer partners in unrepresented geographical areas, managing their appointment, training support, technical resources, and business growth.Commercial Strategy ContributionCollaborate with executive leadership to shape and execute long-term commercial strategy, identifying innovative solutions and new business opportunities.Leadership & CollaborationContribute actively to Senior Management Team meetings. Share knowledge and insights to support broader organisational goals and cross-functional collaboration.Travel & FlexibilityWillingness and ability to travel across the UK and internationally to meet with partners and attend events. Availability to work occasional weekends or outside standard business hours as needed.Essential SkillsDegree level education or higherSolid commercial base, with experience in business development, sales, or dealer partner management within the automotive industryProven track record of building and managing dealer or distribution networks, preferably on a global or regional scaleTechnical appreciation of vehicles aimed at HNW individualsExperience in setting up franchisees and selling via a franchise dealer networkSound and proven commercial acumen and excellent presentation; professional appearanceHighly proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation skillsSelf-starter, logical, organised (project driven) mindsetDeadline-orientated and a true team playerInspiring, motivational, and collaborative team member with positive energy and can-do approachDriving License - willingness and ability to travel across the UK and internationallyMust have valid passport, IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ providedPlease note we do not provide sponsorships to those who require it and will only accept applications from those who have full rights to work in the UK with no restrictions and IDLR/Full Settlement status.
