Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE)
Location: Newcastle – Hybrid
Position: Full-time
Salary: Dependent on experience
A well-established and respected law firm in Newcastle is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE to join its busy and supportive Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a high-quality, client-focused environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working.
The Role
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will handle a wide range of matters, including:
* Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning
* Lasting Powers of Attorney and deputyship applications
* Trusts and trust administration
* Probate and estate administration
* Court of Protection work
You will also liaise with clients and third parties such as HMRC, the Land Registry, and financial institutions, manage case files using case management systems, and ensure high-quality service delivery at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in Private Client or related work
* Strong client service and relationship-building skills
* Ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent organisational skills
* Confident with case management systems and IT
* Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
