As our Health & Safety Manager for Live Events and Film, you will be at the forefront of creating safe, inspiring environments where creativity thrives—ensuring that every project, from spectacular live events to cutting-edge film productions, is delivered with the highest safety standards for our teams, clients, and audiences.

The way you roll...

Your expertise in health and safety is matched by your understanding of creative event delivery. You’ll champion best practices and legal compliance, evolving how we approach risk management so our people can focus on delivering world-class experiences—safely, every time. You’re a clear communicator and collaborative partner, proactively supporting colleagues and clients, and embedding a positive safety culture in every production, from initial design to breakdown.

How you make it all possible...

* Leading the development, implementation, and continual improvement of comprehensive health and safety policies tailored to live events and film sets.
* Conducting risk assessments and safety audits at venues, on locations, in workshops, and during production builds, ensuring effective controls and corrective actions.
* Supporting project teams with bespoke safety plans, method statements, and contractor management across a diverse portfolio of creative projects.
* Providing training, briefings, and guidance for employees, freelancers, and suppliers to encourage safe working practices and legal compliance.
* Investigating and responding to incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and promoting shared learning and improvement.

Your qualifications and experience

* Strong working knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation relevant to live events, temporary structures, and film production.
* Experience designing and delivering health and safety management systems in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
* Competency in hazard identification, risk control, emergency planning, and incident management for events and location work.
* Excellent interpersonal skills—able to engage confidently with creative teams, technical crew, clients, venues, and contractors at all levels.
* Adaptability, calmness under pressure, and a genuine passion for enabling safe, enjoyable experiences for everyone.
* NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum, ideally with event and/or film-industry specific qualifications or CPD.
* Proven health and safety experience in live events, exhibitions, film, TV, or similar creative sectors.
* IOSH membership
* First Aid at Work certified
* Strong IT skills for report writing, digital risk assessment, and safety documentation.
* Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites, studios, and event venues across the UK (and occasionally internationally).
* Commitment to our values of inclusivity, professionalism, and making ‘anything’s possible’—for everyone.
