Service Manager (DV Cleared) (Intelligence / UKIC)

£550–£650/day | Initial 6-month contract | Outside IR35 or Permanent salary
The Role
We are looking for a DV-cleared Service Manager to oversee the delivery of a Cross Domain Service for a UK Government client. Acting as the main on-site point of contact, you will lead a medium-sized engineering team while ensuring high service standards and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Day-to-day leadership of a managed service and engineering team
2. Ownership of incident, problem, and escalation management
3. Engagement with key customer stakeholders and third-party suppliers
4. Management of SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction reporting
5. Coordination and oversight of releases across test, reference, and production environments
6. Driving service improvement, configuration management, and asset management
7. Supporting commercial activities and identifying opportunities for service growth
Essential Skills & Experience
8. Demonstrable experience delivering managed services within the public sector
9. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
10. Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks (ITIL / ISO 20000)
11. Experience working within a SIAM environment
12. Active DV Clearance (essential)
